Jonathan Neuhaus

LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Jonathan is a trauma-informed Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a master’s degree from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. Drawing on years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families, including in school-based settings, Jonathan brings a grounded, relational approach to his work with individuals and families.

His practice is shaped by a deep belief in the power of human connection as the foundation for meaningful change. Jonathan integrates evidence-informed frameworks including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based approaches including Mindful Self-Compassion, to meet each person where they are, adapting as needed to what each person brings into the therapy space.

In sessions, Jonathan creates a collaborative, non-judgmental space where teens and adults can explore the emotional and behavioral challenges they’re navigating, whether that’s anxiety, identity, relationships, life transitions, or the weight of everyday stress. He holds a core belief that the capacity for growth, healing, and self-understanding lives within each of us, and sees his role as helping people access and build on what’s
already there.

Outside of the office, Jonathan lives in Stamford, CT with his wife and two children. When he’s not working, you’ll find him on the pickleball court, out on a hiking trail, or experimenting in the kitchen.
