Erin Forler

LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Erin has always felt that social work was her calling and has been practicing for 13 years.  Erin graduated from the Master of Social Work program at Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario, Canada where she completed an integrated focus in clinical social worker and community development.  Erin has a passion for practicing within an integrated medical/behavioral health model.  Currently she also works as a behavioral health clinician at a local community health center.

Erin meets her clients where they are at and seeks to work with them to come up with new ideas or strategies, they can take with them outside their sessions and into their everyday life.  Erin has training and experience in using DBT and CBT to treat a variety of issues including anxiety, panic attacks, depression, insomnia, mood fluctuation, interpersonal and relationships challenges.   Erin also offers the transformational intervention, EMDR to assist her clients with alleviating the effects of painful memories due to troubling experiences or PTSD.  Erin prides herself on creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere in her therapy sessions, punctuated by a little well-timed humor.

In her free time, Erin enjoys spending time walking her dog, hiking, or curling up with a favorite movie or show.  Always on the quest to make food her family will actually eat, she can also be found searching for new recipe ideas, attempting to make them or turning them into an epic “leftovers pizza”.
