We offer counseling for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.  We do not believe in “one size fits all" and our therapy and programming is always tailored to the individual and/or group we are specifically collaborating with.

Our approach to mental health means looking at the whole person, not just "talk therapy". Nutrition therapy is specifically targeted towards supporting body and brain health using evidence based interventions and expert knowledge of our brain’s biochemistry.

INTEGRATIVE COUPLES THERAPY

Riverwalk therapist Colleen Rogan provide a novel collaborative approach that sets her work apart from more traditional couple's therapy. Each partner participates individually in counseling with Colleen and come together for couples' work. Both individual and couple sessions provide opportunities for a deeper understanding of individual and shared issues and an exploration of how the client's/couple's relationship is impacted. This therapeutic approach is appropriate for any type and stage of a relationship.

RETREATS

The Riverwalk Group has an innovative personal retreat program that can under the right circumstances, avoid an inpatient hospital admission by combining multiple modalities into an intensive immersing therapeutic experience.

GENETIC TESTING

Riverwalk is pleased to announce the addition of new genetic testing that can provide a risk profile for psychiatric symptoms as well as predict outcomes to medications and supplements. Our psychiatric nurse practitioner, Angela Wilson, is providing these tests. The genetic tests have proven to be very helpful for patients who have struggled to find the correct medication or for patients who are interested in a guideline of where to start when discussing medication with their physician. The test is a simple cheek swab, often covered by insurance.
